The process of enrollment includes several stages:
You should make an appointment by calling or by requesting a call back. At the first meeting parents have the opportunity to enter the empty classroom, to learn about Montessori education and programs, and to get answers to all your questions. Please bring your child to this meeting so we can get to know your family better.
Preparing documents and orientation meeting
This meeting is to sign documents and receive an orientation for your family to prepare your child for the new experience. At this meeting you will also get all of the information that every parent who chooses Montessori education for their child needs. You will learn what to bring and where to go for your first day.
Your child’s first week
It may benefit your child to attend short days from 8:30 am to 12:00 am for a week. The Toddler or Casa dei Bambini staff will discuss your child’s transition with you and suggest either short or regular days. If your child is enrolled in a program other than 12:00, such as 13:30 or 16:00, he or she will move to that program after one week.
Follow-up meeting with teacher
We invite you to a follow-up meeting with your child’s teacher one week after your child’s first day. This is a time to ask any questions you may have and for the teacher to inform you in greater detail about your child’s first week at school. Please schedule this meeting with the office.
You can ask anything about enrollment and education, by phone, email, or by filling out the form on the "Contacts" page.
